"Alumni Exclusive Event": White Belt Training

    Join us on Thursday, May 26 at 11:30 a.m. (EDT) as Franklin University’s Alumni Speaker Series presents a “White Belt Training” workshop, featuring instructor, Dr. Alyncia Bowen, Dean, Ross College of Business, Executive Director Franklin University Leadership Center, Co-Executive Director, Global Center for Healthcare Education.

    During this virtual White Belt Certification workshop, participants will gain an understanding of Six Sigma, including how it’s developed and how the concept is used to streamline and strengthen manufacturing and service industries.

    Skills learned in this program will enable participants to understand how Six Sigma concepts can improve quality and reduce cost while refining customer satisfaction. Participants will also learn how Six Sigma methodologies can enhance quality programs, retain customers, and drive down costs.


    Dr. Alyncia Bowen
    Dean of the Ross College of Business at Franklin University

    Dr. Bowen earned her doctorate in organization and management from Capella University, her master’s in healthcare administration from Central Michigan University, and a bachelor’s in sociology from Capital University. She has served as a professor in the undergraduate Business Administration and Management + Leadership programs, as well as Franklin’s MBA program. In addition to education, Dr. Bowen worked in healthcare for over 23 years, holding several leadership and operations management positions. She is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
