Franklin University Choose Ohio First Application



    Award Information


    The Choose Ohio First Scholarship (COF) is competitive and merit-based. The scholarship amount is variable depending on the degree/credential being pursued (maximum up to $7,500/year) and will be divided into three installments corresponding with each term of enrollment (Summer, Fall, Spring). The scholarship is renewable as long as eligibility requirements (see below) continue to be met. COF may not be combined with U-LEARN or Earn + Learn partnerships.

    UNDERGRADUATE REQUIREMENTS
    • Must be an Ohio Resident (current resident of a least one year or graduate of an Ohio High School).
    • Must be a new student to Franklin University or a current student who is transferring to a qualified program.
    • Must be an undergraduate student actively seeking a degree or certificate in an approved program.
    • Must have a High School GPA of 3.0 or a cumulative 3.0 GPA through other post-secondary institutions.
    • Must agree to provide information about your participation in the COF program.

    GRADUATE REQUIREMENTS
    • Must be an Ohio Resident (current resident of a least one year)
    • Must be a new student to Franklin University with an earned Bachelor’s degree.
    • Must be a graduate student actively seeking a degree or certificate in an approved program.
    • Must have a cumulative 3.0 undergraduate GPA.
    • Must agree to provide information about your participation in the COF program.
