Register for International Student Orientation

The Office of International Students and Programs will host International Student Orientation as an on-campus event on the Wednesday prior to courses beginning. Join us for sessions to help you acclimate to Franklin, feel confident starting your academic program, and maintain your legal presence in the U.S.

F-1 Student Immigration Check-In

To complete Immigration Check-In, upload electronic copies of the following items in the applicant portal or submit at orientation:

• F-1 Visa
• Form I-94: Arrival/Departure Record or Form I-797A: Notice of Action
• Completed SEVIS Transfer Form (if applicable)

Important! U.S. law requires your address to be updated within 10 days of any change, and immigration check-in cannot be completed in SEVIS without a U.S. address. Once you have registered for courses, log into myFranklin's Self-Service portal to update your local address and U.S. phone number as soon as possible.
